Join us for the first ever 'Around the Grounds' sponsorsored walk - a unique way of visiting London's 2017/18 Premier League stadiums.
The walk will be led by Glacier Trust volunteer, Glyn Phillips, with support from our co-director Morgan who will cycle alongside walkers for the entire route. Regular stops will be made for refreshments and at each stadium for souvenier photo's. Lunch will be provided at the halfway point and participants will be invited to an after walk dinner at The Great Nepalese restaurant in Euston.
Whilst we don't expect you to have Premier League levels of fitness, this is a one day, 43.7 mile, walk so will be physically challenging. We recommend it only to experienced walkers. We have planned the route to avoid major roads as far as possible, but we ask all participants to take maximum care by adhering to all road safety advice.
Participants will start at Watford FC's Vicarage Road and walk south via Wembley and Stamford Bridge to Selhurst Park before heading north east via the Greenwich foot tunnel to the London Stadium and finally the Emirates Stadium.
'Around the Grounds' is an official and exclusive event designed and managed by The Glacier Trust. All participants will be asked to raise funds for The Glacier Trust via a dedicated sponsorship page. The Glacier Trust will support participants in setting up their sponsorship page on the Virgin Money Giving platform. We will provide fundraising advice and support in the run up to the event and every participant will recieve a free event T-Shirt. 100% of the funds raised will be spent on our project work in Nepal.
Entry is free but places are limited and booking is required. Once we have recieved your form, we will contact you to let you know if you have been successful.
