The Glacier Trust proudly presents Nawalparasi Glacier Coffee from the hamlet of Baseni within our Nawalparasi project area.

This coffee has never been roasted or brewed in the UK and we are delighted to partner with Tom at Happy Barista to bring these beans to you.

Scoring 80/100 by the SCA, this coffee is an incredibly beautiful cup. The coffee was certified organic in 2018, and although farming practices remain the same, the certification is too expensive for the famers to reapply for it.

Notes of raisins, pomegranate, and kaffir lime make this terrifically exciting coffee. We’ve had some beautiful cups via filter and espresso, so it seems to be a good all rounder for brewing methods.
