We are delighted to launch our latest Impact Report, which highlights the amazing outcomes that are being delivered on the ground in Nepal to support communities to adapt to the increasing challenges of climate change. With sections about each project, what our outcomes look like over the last eighteen years and what the future might look like, it’s a comprehensive look into the work of The Glacier Trust and our wonderful partners in Nepal.

The Glacier Trust has been enabling climate change adaptation in the remote mountain communities of Nepal since 2008. During that time we have supported thousands of people to learn, adapt to climate change, improve their livelihoods, and campaign for change. In 2023, we took a look back at the first fifteen years of our work and produced our first impact report.
IMPACT in Nepal
We work very closely with our NGO partners in Nepal. They report to us regularly, with updates on project progress and outcomes. Highlights from these reports are published on our Project News pages. Here, for full transparency and as a resource for researchers, we publish the reports we receive in full. There is a link to our report archive at the bottom of this page.
Please note: The majority of these reports are written by our project partners for whom English is a third or sometimes fourth language. We make light edits to ensure the correct meaning comes across, but feel it important not to make heavy edits. If anything is unclear, please contact us for clarification.
