Last week we told you about the early warning system that was put into action in Nepal during the floods in August. Practical Action have produced a short video showing the extent of the flooding and the response.
Heavy rainfall started from the midnight of 12 August 2017. The vast area of the southern Terai floodplains was inundated, resulting in severe flooding with huge impacts on lives, livelihood, food security and infrastructure across 26 of Nepal's 75 districts.
