The Glacier Trust enables and advocates for climate change adaptation in Nepal and the UK.

In Nepal we work with NGO partners to enable transformative climate change adaptation in remote Himalayan communities and with Academic partners to develop the next generation of adaptation professionals.

In the UK, we raise awareness of the need to tell climate change adaptation stories more often and with more impact.

Our work in Nepal

The Glacier Trust works in partnership with Nepal-based NGOs, HICODEF and Eco Himal to enable climate change adaptation in climate change impacted remote mountain villages.

Great Adaptations

Our book ‘Great Adaptation - in the shadow of a climate crisis’ tells the hidden stories from around the world of good, bad and ugly adaptation to climate change. We have a very limited stock of hard copies remaining. Order directly from The Glacier Trust, all proceeds support our work in Nepal.
